Getting started
Connect a wallet, deposit testnet ETH, and place an order on Robinhood Chain testnet.
Before you begin
You need an EVM-compatible wallet connected to Robinhood Chain testnet and a small amount of testnet ETH. ETH is used both as collateral and to pay network gas.
This deployment is experimental. Confirm the network in your wallet before approving any action.
Connect and fund your account
- 1Open the Settle app
Select Launch app, then connect your wallet. The app will ask you to switch networks if needed.
- 2Deposit testnet ETH
Open your portfolio and deposit the amount you want available for trading. The hub contract holds this balance on-chain.
- 3Confirm your available balance
Wait for the deposit transaction to confirm before placing an order.
Place your first trade
- 1Choose a market
Read the asset, target price, and closing time carefully.
- 2Select Above or Below
Choose Above if you think the final price will meet or exceed the target. Choose Below if you think it will not.
- 3Review price and quantity
A 62¢ price represents an implied probability of 62%; it is not a US-dollar payment amount.
- 4Sign the order
Your wallet signs an order instruction. Placing the order normally does not submit an on-chain transaction.
After the market expires
Settle gathers the expiry price, proposes an outcome, and starts a review window. Once the outcome is final, winning positions become claimable from the Portfolio page.
The Settlement page covers price sources, review periods, and the seven-day backstop.
