Getting started

Connect your wallet, deposit ETH and start trading on Settle

Before you begin

You need an EVM-compatible wallet connected to Robinhood Chain Testnet and a small amount of ETH. ETH is used both as collateral and to pay network gas. If needed.

Connect and fund your account

  1. 1
    Open the Settle app

Select Launch app (app.settle.market), then connect your wallet. Make sure you are on Robinhood Chain Testnet.

  2. 2
    Deposit ETH

Head over to the deposit and withdrawal tab and deposit the amount you want available for trading. The hub contract holds this balance on-chain.

  3. 3
    Confirm your available balance

Wait for the deposit transaction to confirm before placing an order.

Place your first trade

  1. 1
    Choose a market

Choose your asset, strike price, and expiry carefully.

  2. 2
    Select Above or Below

Select Above if you think the final price will meet or exceed the strike. Select Below if you think it will not.

  3. 3
    Review odds and quantity

Each winning contract settles at 0.001 ETH (100%) if correct, or zero if incorrect. Its quoted price represents the market-implied probability—for example, a contract priced at 62% costs 0.00062 ETH.

  4. 4
    Sign the order

Your wallet signs an order instruction. Only trades are settled on-chain.

After the market expires

Settle’s internal oracle determines the expiry price and proposes an outcome on-chain. A review window then begins. Once the outcome is final, winning positions become claimable from the Portfolio page.
