Privacy at Settle.
This notice explains what settle.market collects, why, and what you can control.
Last updated · August 10, 2026
Information you provide
The settle.market informational site no longer operates a waitlist or collects information through a signup form. Selecting Try testnet opens the separate Settle application, where wallet interactions are initiated by you.
Settle previously operated an early-access waitlist. Historical email addresses and optional public wallet addresses remain access-restricted while they are needed for records or deletion requests; they are not used to calculate site analytics.
Site and interaction data
Settle uses first-party analytics to understand aggregate site use, on-page engagement and interest in trying the testnet. This may include the page and named section viewed, approximate country, device category, referring website hostname, coarse scroll depth, visible-tab time, named interface interactions, testnet-launch source, a coarse hosting-network risk category, time, and a random first-party session identifier.
When site JavaScript starts, the server issues a short-lived signed session token bound to the browser request. Presence, engagement and testnet-intent events require that token. Pageview records are aggregate-only and do not contain a visitor identifier. Raw IP addresses, raw User-Agent strings, derived browser or network fingerprints, tokens, click coordinates, typed content and session replays are not written to analytics files. Interaction events may record whether the browser marked an event as user-generated.
Live presence
While a public page is visible, the site may send an authenticated ephemeral heartbeat containing a random session identifier, current page, device category, approximate country, and coarse network-risk category. Presence data is kept in server memory for about 90 seconds and is not written to disk.
Cookies and local storage
Settle does not use cookies for its first-party analytics. The site stores your light or dark theme choice in local storage and an ephemeral random analytics session identifier in session storage. The signed session token expires shortly and is kept only in page memory.
External services
Your browser contacts Google Fonts to load the site typefaces and Binance to retrieve live crypto market data. Those providers receive normal connection information, such as your IP address and browser request metadata, and handle it under their own privacy terms. Equity market data is requested by the Settle server from Hyperliquid.
Sharing and sale
Settle does not sell personal information. Information may be disclosed to infrastructure providers when needed to operate the site, or when required for security, legal compliance, or protection of rights.
Retention and security
Historical early-access records are retained only while needed for records, deletion requests, or legal and security reasons. Analytics information is retained for operational analysis and security and is deleted when it is no longer needed.
Access to historical early-access and analytics information is restricted through protected administrative controls. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
- You can enable the browser’s Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal to disable Settle’s first-party page, engagement, testnet-intent, and presence analytics.
- You can ask to access, correct, or delete a historical early-access record associated with your email.
Contact
For a privacy question or request, contact Settle through the official @SettleMarket account on X. We may need to verify that a request relates to your information before acting on it.
